ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (August 5, 2025) – Flying Lizard Motorsports showed grit and determination at Road America this weekend, navigating through setbacks to collect valuable championship points in Rounds 7 and 8 of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series. The No. 14 and No. 41 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 entries each fought through tough conditions during the doubleheader event at the fan-favorite Wisconsin circuit.
The weekend began on a strong note, with Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller topping the timesheets in the opening practice session. Both the No. 14 of Slade Stewart and Andy Lee and the No. 41 of Nemschoff and Miller were within the top five in the second practice session, setting the tone for a competitive outing.
In the opening race, Slade Stewart took the green flag from fifth in the ProAm class in the No. 14 Sparklefarts entry, while Marc Miller started from fourth in the No. 41. Stewart maintained position early before slipping to eighth on lap five. After the mandatory pit stop around the halfway mark, Andy Lee took over and steadily climbed his way back through the field, ultimately finishing sixth.
Miller made a strong start, quickly moving into podium contention. He pitted from second place, handing the car over to Nemschoff, who rejoined in third. Unfortunately, shortly after taking over, Nemschoff suffered an incident that forced the No. 41 to retire early from the race.
Sunday’s race opened with chaos, as multiple cars were collected in a first-lap incident just past Turn Three. Nemschoff, starting from tenth in class, sustained lingering damage from Saturday’s race and was ultimately forced to retire early once again, though the team still earned points for the run.
The No. 14 was also caught in the early melee and spun aroun,d but escaped major damage. Andy Lee continued from the back of the field, passing three cars on the restart lap after a five-lap caution period. He pitted on lap 10, handing the car over to Stewart, who pressed on to finish sixth for the second day in a row.
Despite a challenging weekend, Stewart and Lee maintain fourth place in the ProAm championship standings. Nemschoff and Miller drop to fifth, but with one doubleheader weekend remaining in the U.S. season, both Flying Lizard entries remain within striking distance of the title fight.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship next heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the final domestic round, September 18–20, before the season concludes in Europe at the Lamborghini World Finals.
