DELAWARE SPEEDWAY: This weekend (Sept. 26-27) Delaware Speedway plays host to its annual Great Canadian Race Weekend. Tonight (Friday), it’s the Doxtator Property Maintenance V8 Stocks Championship Race, Bone Stock Shootout, King of the Hill Spectator Races and the Dayco Super Stock Series Championship Race. Up Saturday is the OSCAAR Hot Rods Championship Race, Overkill Enterprises Modifieds Championship Race, and the APC Pro Late Model Series Championship Race. Inside Track’s Bryce Turner interviews 2025 Ontario Sportsman Series champion Connor James after the season finale at Sunset Speedway. James won seven of nine races, including a stretch of five straight, en route to his third series title. It was also an emotional victory in the finale, where James drove a special paint scheme in honour of his dad, who passed away at the start of the year. DIRTcar: Cody McPherson Tops All-Canadian Podium at Land of Legends

Cody McPherson, from St. Catharines, ON, led a trio of Canadian DIRTcar Sportsman Championship Series drivers across the finish line at Land of Legends Raceway to win the Sportsman portion of the Gerald Haers Memorial. Shane Pecore and Jessica Power rounded out the podium.

 

NTT INDYCAR Series 2026 Schedule Announced

INDYCAR announced a 17-race schedule for the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, highlighted by multiple new events and several exciting showcases for the stars of one of racing’s most exhilarating and competitive series. This includes a Toronto-area stop on Aug. 16.

 

Formula One: Verstappen Dominates Weekend in Azerbaijan

Max Verstappen started from pole and dominated the F1 Azerbaijan GP on the way to his fourth win of 2025 and 67th of his career, streaking away from all the drama behind and never being challenged in the 51-lap race on the streets of Baku. Jeff Pappone reports.

NASCAR Canada: Camirand Wins 2025 Finale and Championship

The NASCAR Canada Series wrapped up its 2025 season at Autodrome Montmagny, where Marc-Antoine Camirand won the race and championship. The driver of the No. 96 made history as the first driver to win back-to-back titles in the series.

 

 

Ohsweken Speedway: 2025 Nationals Week Race Report

The 21st edition of Nationals Week brought plenty of action to Ohsweken Speedway. Nick Sheridan, Jesse Costa, Ryan Beagle, and Jeff Elsliger took crown jewel wins, while three new inductees were announced for the Wall of Fame. Brent Otchere has the track’s race report.

 

 

Vincent and Gaudreau Return to Victory at Rallye Défi Petite Nation

Just one week after clinching the title in the Nissan Sentra Cup, Simon Vincent carried his momentum into the weekend by winning the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC) event at Rallye Défi Petite Nation with co-driver Hubert Gaudreau.
