56th Annual Firecracker 40 Sportsman Championship Headlines Grandview Speedway Program This Saturday July 11

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman headline the action this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman will be in the spotlight this week participating in the 56th annual Firecracker 40 Championship race, which is the longest feature race of the year for the division, along with qualifying events and a heat winner’s Cash Dash sponsored by Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate with a payout of $500!

The race program is part of the NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts, and will also feature the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds in a full program of qualifying leading up to a 30-lap main event all starting at 7:30 pm.

Once again Grandview Speedway’s official Track Photographer Steve Sabo, owner of SDS Racing Photography, has posted a bonus of $400 to the winner of the Firecracker 40, to go along with the posted winner’s purse of $2000, bringing the total to $2400 for the win in the Championship race!

SDS Racing Photography has a photo booth set up at the track each week so fans and drivers can pick up the latest pictures from the weekly action at Grandview Speedway in addition to driver stickers, pins, magnets, and more! Saturday’s program will also feature another fan favorite Trivia night, where fans can win prizes after correctly answering questions about Grandview Speedway racing.

Adult grandstand admission is $25, students 10-15 with ID are $12, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

The next big event on the schedule is on Saturday, July 18, which will be Back to the 90’s Night sponsored by T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, featuring just $10 grandstand admission for a complete show of T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds & Sportsman, along with the Dave Smith Memorial race for the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7:30 pm.

Fans are encouraged to wear their 1990’s era apparel and t-shirts for what should be a fun trip down memory lane that evening.

With the season’s sixth rain out last Saturday night, the point standings remain unchanged for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modifieds heading into this Saturday night’s program with Eddie Strada still leading the way over Logan Watt, Jeff Strunk, Rick Laubach and Jared Umbenhauer.
