Jeb Burton Survives Talladega Carnage, Takes Jordan Anderson Racing To First Xfinity Series Win

It was the kind of hard-nosed, impatient – and thrilling — competition that NASCAR fans have come to expect in the final laps of racing at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. In the end, Jeb Burton took the checkered flag on a double overtime restart to claim the victory in Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race.

NASCAR Xfinity Series – Joe Gibbs Racing Coming In Hot

Joe Gibbs Racing’s John Hunter Nemechek completely dominated in his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Martinsville Speedway last weekend as he led 198 of the 250 laps, swept all the stages, and put up a Perfect Driver Rating (150.0) leading him to his second win of the season.

Nemechek has had a hot start to his first full-time season in the Xfinity Series since 2019, posting a top-five or top-10 finish in all but one race. His success on the track thus far has him out front in the points standings with 319 points.

New Englanders’ Performance During Racing At Martinsville
On Saturday Austin Hill scored a win in the Xfinity Series with Jeb Burton coming home in 11th place while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finished 23rd followed by Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT in 24th.  Finishing 32nd was Boston’s Kaz Grala.  Burton and Alfredo both race team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who  reside in Harwich, MA.

Kaulig Racing rookie Chandler Smith’s hard work finally paid off last weekend at Richmond Raceway as he posted his first career win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in just is 10th series start.

The victory was extra sweet for the No. 16 Chevrolet driver after nearly posting his first win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last month, only to lose the lead in the final lap and ultimately finished third. (more…)

Hometown Boy Austin Hill Wins NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Again at Atlanta

Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill has proven that he is the one to beat, having already snagged three wins in the first five races of the season. The last time a driver won three of the first five races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series was in 2016 with Kyle Busch.

The Winston, Georgia native, Hill, raced his way to the checkered flag from the third starting position. He led three times for a race-high 103 of 163 laps. This was his second win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his home track.
