How Did New England-Connected Competitors Do This Past Weekend At COTA?

Tyler Reddick won the Cup race on Sunday. Corey Lajoie ended up 11th, Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished in 28th place while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished his day in 38th position.

Corey LaJoie is the son of Randy LaJoie, a two-time Xfinity Champion, who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
In Saturday’s Camping World Truck race had Zane Smith driving into Victory Lane while Boston’s Kaz Grala came in ninth. Dale Quarterley of Hanover, MA end his day in 28th position.
A J Allmendinger won the Xfinity race while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 16th with Kaz Grala ended up in 18th place.  Jeb Burton took the 21st spot  while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT ended up 31st.  Alfredo and Burton drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who reside in Harwich, MA  placed.
At the NHRA Nationals in Phoenix, AZ Bob Tasca of Hope, RI ended up third overall in the Funny Car Finals.
