On Saturday Austin Hill scored a win in the Xfinity Series with Jeb Burton coming home in 11th place while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finished 23rd followed by Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT in 24th. Finishing 32nd was Boston’s Kaz Grala. Burton and Alfredo both race team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who reside in Harwich, MA.
Here’s how it went in Sunday’s Cup race at that half-mile venue. Kyle Larson came home the winner while Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano had to settle for the runner-up spot. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 15th. Corey LaJoie, the son of Randy LaJoie of Norwalk, CT, who is a two time Xfinity Champion, finished 26th. Anthony Alfredo took the 35th position.
