Hannah Bell and Team Building Late Model Momentum Toward 2026

HICKORY, N.C.: It’s been a quiet, but successful summer for Hannah Bell and her Performance Vehicle Works Racing team.

Since launching the new Late Model effort earlier this year on the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tour at the historic Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway, Bell has been flying under the radar in her No. 05 Alliance Packaging Chevrolet.

She has been reacquainting herself with competition while working behind the scenes and using every available resource to refine her craft.

For Bell, who has long been passionate about racing, the 2025 campaign has represented more than just laps around the racetrack.

With the support of Alliance Packaging and a growing team infrastructure, she has been focused on building consistency, learning the nuances of the ultra-competitive Late Model division, and positioning herself for bigger results as the season continues.

While some of her summer experience was sidelined with mechanical issues that cost valuable track time, Bell has since returned to Hickory and delivered back-to-back top-five finishes.

Now, with the summer stretch in the rearview mirror, Bell and her Performance Vehicle Works Racing team are setting their sights on turning steady progress into momentum for the fall.

This weekend, she returns to the legendary half-mile track known for its rich history in motorsports, determined not only to capture her third straight top-five but also to chase her first podium finish of 2025.

“This year has really been about learning, growing and building a solid foundation with our new Performance Vehicle Works Racing team,” said Bell.

“We’ve faced some challenges with mechanical issues earlier in the summer, but I think the way we’ve bounced back with two straight top-five finishes at Hickory shows the strength of this team and our partnership with Alliance Packaging.

“Hickory is such a special place with so much history, and to have the chance to come back this weekend and not just fight for another top-five, but hopefully our first podium of the season, is really exciting.

“I feel like we’re gaining momentum, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish as we head into the fall.”

Bell admits that while results matter, her main priority this year has been continued growth and development behind the wheel.

For the 27-year-old, 2025 has been less about chasing trophies and more about laying the groundwork for long-term success.

By embracing the challenges of a new Late Model program and investing time into learning from her team, Bell has used the summer months as a chance to reset, adapt and steadily build her confidence each time she climbs into the No. 05 Alliance Packaging Chevrolet.

Hannah Bell“For me, this season has really been about improving my craft,” said Bell. “I’ve been focused on taking advantage of every resource and every lap to make myself better as a driver.

“Working with Performance Vehicle Works has been such a tremendous asset in achieving those goals, because they’ve given me the tools, support, and structure to learn and grow the right way.

“The top-five finishes are rewarding, but what means the most is knowing that the hard work behind the scenes is starting to show on the track.

“That growth gives me confidence that we’re moving in the right direction as a team.”

With four races left on the docket — including Saturday night’s sprint battle — Bell is focused on making the most of every opportunity, not only to chase a win but also to continue laying the groundwork for 2026.

After the August 30 event, she’ll return to Hickory on September 13, October 11, and cap off her season in the November 8 finale.

“These last four races are really important to me,” said Bell. “Of course, I want to be competitive and put myself in a position to fight for a win, but just as important is continuing to grow and make progress every time we’re on track.

“Every lap, every finish, it all adds up. I know the work we’re putting in now with Performance Vehicle Works is going to pay off, and I want to close out 2025 strong so that we can hit the ground running and be even better prepared for 2026.”

Bell’s Limited Late Model schedule will continue to be supported this weekend by her long-term partner, Alliance Packaging.

Racing begins at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night, August 30, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on FloRacing.com.
