New England Racing Season Is Picking Up Steam….

Ryan Kuhn of East Bridgewater and his race team spent the winter at hard work in his shop for the first Super Late Model race at Hickory Motor Speedway in NC and other events in 2022. “We started our season off running with the Pro All Stars Series for both Easter Bunny 150’s last weekend,” said Ryan.. He finished 14th at the second race among some 34 entries but got sidelined in a wreck during the the first event.

PASS Tour Results From Hickory Speedway – Byron Beats Out Barker for the Bunny

Hickory, NC – Cup Series star William Byron took a break from a busy weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway to race his #24 Donnie Wilson owned Super Late Model in the second of two Easter Bunny 150s Saturday. Byron a former regular at the track did not attend Friday night’s event or even race at Hickory for the past seven years. Rust was a non-issue as he was able to lead 109 laps on his way to the victory by more than a half a second over Brandon Barker #88.

DRYDEN, Mich. (Sept. 13, 2021) – Even at 5’1”, 14-year-old Katie Hettinger will walk into Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway a little taller this Saturday. That’s because on Sept. 4 at the .363-mile oval, Hettinger won the 50-lap Limited Late Model feature as part of the Bobby Isaac Memorial event.

Corey Heim to Make Camping World Truck Series Debut at Darlington

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 21, 2021) – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that Corey Heim will make two starts behind the wheel of the organization’s No. 51 Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this season. The 18-year-old driver will make his series debut May 7 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway with primary sponsorship from JBL, the authority in engineering superior sound. He will also compete in the Truck Series event Oct. 30 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway with a yet to be named sponsor.

Track Talk – Savary To Take On Thompson Speedway’s Outlaw Modified Race This Weekend; Other Notes

Richard Savary of Canton plans to take in the Outlaw Modified race this Saturday, 4/11/21 at the 5/8-mile Thompson Speedway in CT which will open the 2021 racing season.  He originally planned to only race in the Tri Track Open Modified Series which is comprised of just six events this season.

Derek Griffith Sweeps Easter Bunny Weekend Wins At Hickory

HICKORY, NC (April 3) –Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH withstood a race-long battle with his cross-town rival Joey Polewarcyzk to take the win for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models Saturday night in the 16th Annual Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway.  With his win, Griffith swept the weekend twins to become the first driver since Preston Peltier to score back-to-back Easter Bunny 150 wins.
