Harrison Burton returns to Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) for his second full season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2021 behind the wheel of the DEX Imaging Toyota Supra. Coming off an impressive rookie season which saw Burton capture Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors and finish eighth in the championship driver standings, Burton will look to capture JGR’s third Xfinity Series Driver’s Championship under the leadership of veteran crew chief Jason Ratcliff this season. Chris Buescher’s Rally Halted by Late Incident in Daytona Clash
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 9, 2021) – Chris Buescher drove all the way up to fourth with just a handful of laps remaining in Tuesday night’s Busch Clash race, but his promising run was cut short when he was collected by an incident in the final turns of Daytona’s road course. With damage to his Fastenal Ford Mustang, Buescher was forced to settled for a 17th-place finish in the chaotic exhibition event. (more…)
2021 Daytona 500 Preview – Tyler Reddick
This week’s Clash at Daytona will be Tyler Reddick’s first start in the exhibition race. Reddick does have one Daytona International Speedway Road Course start, finishing in the top 20 during last year’s NASCAR Cup Series’ debut on the configuration.
2021 Daytona 500 Preview – Austin Dillon
Austin Dillon, the 2018 Daytona 500 Champion, has 15 previous starts in the NASCAR Cup Series at Daytona International Speedway, acquiring one pole award, two top-five and seven top-10 finishes. The Welcome, North Carolina, driver, who grew up attending races at Daytona International Speedway with his family, has 10 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with one win, seven top-five and seven top-10 finishes. He has two starts at the track in the NASCAR Truck Series.
Worcester Academy Grad Kaz Grala of Westboro, MA Has Sights Set on Qualifying for Daytona 500
Kaz Grala grew up in Westboro and now resides in North Carolina, but he’s made himself right at home at Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
Although long considered one of the toughest tracks to navigate on the NASCAR circuit, Grala has had a series of strong showings on the 2.5-mile, tri-oval layout with its steep, 31-degree banked turns. (more…)

Daytona 500 – Christopher Bell – No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry Preview
Daytona 500: Christopher Bell will make his second Daytona 500 start this Sunday, February 14th. Bell qualified 19th in 2020 for his first career Daytona 500 start. Bell teamed up with his fellow Toyota teammates throughout the race and under caution on lap 185 he was sitting second. Unfortunately, when racing resumed, he found himself without drafting help and got shuffled back in the field. While working his way back forward he sustained damage when a car spun in front of him, resulting in a 21st-place finish for Bell. (more…)
FedEx Racing Express Facts – Clash at Daytona
Denny Hamlin and the FedEx Racing team return to begin their 2021 NASCAR Cup Series campaign this Tuesday with the 35-lap Busch Clash on the Daytona International Speedway road course. A three-time winner of the event on the Daytona oval (2006, 2014 and 2016), Hamlin is one of only six drivers to win both the Clash and DAYTONA 500 during the same Speedweeks. His only previous start on the infield road course yielded a second-place finish. (more…)
