Chase Elliott won the Cup Series race at Kansas. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished 21st, with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT coming in 26th.In the Xfinity Series it was Brandon Jones in Victory Lane. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finished in 25. Justin Bonsignore of LI, NY ended up 37th.
Tardif Makes GSPSS History With $10,000 Centre Lavertu Honda 150 Victory
VALLÉE-JONCTION, QUE. – In one form or another, the Granite State Pro Stock Series’ (GSPSS) maiden voyage to Quebec was going to make series history.
But hometown hero Alexendre “Fireball” Tardif made the most of history in Saturday’s Centre Lavertu Honda 150, becoming the first Quebecer to win a GSPSS event in the series’ first-ever event at Autodrome Chaudière.

As his No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet sped wide open through the final corner on Lap 273 at Kansas Speedway, Elliott’s car bounced off the side of Denny Hamlin’s Toyota on the way to the finish line.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — With a flawlessly executed race from start to finish, Brandon Jones preserved his bragging rights at Kansas Speedway, winning Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff event.
