DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (October 30, 2024) – A quality and sure-to-be competitive field of more than 140 vintage and historic sports cars from the last 60-plus years has converged on Daytona International Speedway (DIS) for the 10th Running of the HSR Daytona Classic 24 Hour Presented by Mission Foods this weekend at DIS, October 30 – November 3. A stout entry of defending and former race winners and debuting contenders is set for the Classic 24 Saturday and Sunday in addition to a strong lineup for the HSR Daytona Historics, which is a points-paying event for HSR’s season-long racing series and championships. Irwindale Speedway To Close After 25 Years Of Racing, Demolition Derbies And More

Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip has hosted NASCAR events, drag races and more for a quarter-center in the San Gabriel Valley.


The checkered flag is in sight for Irwindale Speedway after 25 years of NASCAR races, demolition derbies, drag racing, and other events at the San Gabriel Valley motorsports landmark.

The speedway and dragstrip about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles will close at the end of the 2024 season with a farewell event scheduled for Dec. 21, according to a statement posted Tuesday. (more…)

Tyler Reddick Secures Championship Four Spot in Thrilling Win at Homestead-Miami Speedway

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – In the most dramatic Playoff race of the 2024 season – featuring three different leaders in the final three laps – 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick made a clutch pass out of Turn 4 on the last lap to claim his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday when it counted most.

Reddick passed his team owner, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin with two laps to go then moved high up against the wall to pass Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney in the final corner to claim the Straight Talk Wireless 400 trophy and secure a position in the Championship Four in two weeks in the Phoenix Raceway season finale.

Following the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in a double-header, action-packed Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the NASCAR Xfinity Series sets its sights on the Credit One NASCAR AMEX Credit Card 300 on October 26 at 3:30 p.m. ET on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio – the second race in the Playoffs’ Round of 8.

The 1.5-mile South Florida track, Homestead-Miami Speedway, has hosted 30 NASCAR Xfinity Series races since the inaugural event in 1995, producing 23 different race winners and almost as many pole winners (21).
