Kyle Busch dominated the Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta leading 102 laps of 130. Brett Moffit ended up 9th. Brett also drives a Xfinity entry for Cape Cod’s Chris Our. Parker Kligerman of Westport, Ct ended the afternoon in 14th.
In the companion Xfinity race Bret Moffit started ninth while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT started in 12th place. In the early going Moffit was involved in a wreck that eliminated him from that point on. The results of which saw him place in 40th position. Justin Allgaier ended up the winner with Santino of Woodbury, CT placed 15th.
In Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race Joey Logano of Middletown, CT started third, Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT started 23rd, Corey LaJoie, son of two-time Xfinity Series Champion Randy LaJoie of Norwalk, CT was 30th while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT starte 32nd.
Ryan Blaney took away Kyle Larson’s domination of the Cup event in the late going. At the finish Logano finished 15th, Preece placed 25th, Alfredo took 27th place while LaJoie came in 29th.
Up for next weekend the NASCAR Circus will perform on the dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway in TN!
