How New England-Connected Drivers Did At Kansas

Ty Gibbs came home the winner in the NASCAR Xfinity race at Kansas while Brett Moffitt came in sixth place at the checkered flag.  Moffitt steers Cape Cod’s Chris Our’s entry.  Our is a successful business man who calls Harwich, MA home.

It was no surprise that Kyle Larson won his ninth NASCAR Cup race of the season at Kansas.  Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano came in 9th with Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finishing 20th just ahead of Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT who ended his day in 21st place.  Corey LaJoie finished 25th.  Corey’s dad is two-time Xinfity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.  Having a terrible day was Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT who got caught up in an accident in the early going and placed 38th.  (end)
