No one is surprised that after announcing his retirement from MotoGP at 42, the Italian Valentino Rossi continue competing in motorsports. In fact, whenever his schedule allowed, he has participated in different categories. The big difference is that in 2022 you will have enough time to do it consistently.
As he explained to the Gazzetta motori, has two specialties in view: the World Endurance (WEC) and the GT World Challenge Europe (GTWCE). “We still have to figure out which one is better.”He said.
“Every year I have tried to do a race or two at the IMSA in the United States, which is very interesting, especially the 24 Hours of Daytona. I hope to do it one day ”, he said at the time.
Regarding his 2022 project, Rossi confirmed that he will be manning a GT. “Now we have to figure out which one to run with”, explained. He also confirmed that he is in talks with Ferrari. “Obviously that would be nice, it would be a dream and something great”, he confessed.
