How Drivers With New England Connections Did At Dover

In Saturday’s Xfinity Series at the Dover Monster Track saw Josh Berry take the win.  Brett Moffit ended his day in 13th place with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT coming in 15th while Jeb Burton placed 16th.  Moffitt, Alfredo and Burton all race for Our Motorsports which is jointly owned by Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.  Boston’s Kaz Grala had a disappointing outing which ended with him finishing 24th.

In Monday’s rescheduled NASCAR Cup Series, due to a Sunday rain out, taking that race was Chase Elliott.  Corey LaJoie came in 18th.  Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion, a Norwalk, CT native, Randy LaJoie who served his apprenticeship starting in New England and ending in the Charlotte, NC area.  Randy is currently in the (safetly) racing seat business   Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece was 25th when the checkered flag waved.  Having one the worst days ever was Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano who end it all in 29th.  Usually, Logano is a top five driver ever time hits the track.
