N. Woodstock, NH — Saturday, July 29th brings an all-important night for multiple White Mountain Motorsports Park divisions. The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models will go for 100 laps of exciting highbanked action in Round #3 of the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series and get in their final laps prior to the $50,000 Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 5th.

Also highlighting the Saturday schedule will be the Matt Clay Memorial Midseason Championship event for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, double features for the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini Stocks plus the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division!

While St. Johnsbury’s Kasey Beattie has earned himself a runaway lead in the track championship standings, he sits just one point over Candia, New Hampshire’s Jimmy Renfrew Jr. in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series points. Renfrew came awfully close to nabbing a King of the Mountain track championship not that long ago at the North Woodstock speedplant and a Wall’s Ford Platinum championship trophy among his 100+ trophies back home. American-Canadian Tour rookie standouts Tanner Woodard and Bryan Wall Jr. are right there in the hunt as well, both looking to join the wins list while North Haverhill’s Ryan Olsen is also in the hunt as he prepares his FMS NAPA Chevy for the Milton CAT 250.

Both the Mini Late Models and Strictly Stock Minis return to White Mountain for their Midseason Championship make-ups. After being able to finish qualifying heats three weeks ago, the Strictly Minis will begin Saturday’s program with their Double Point feature before the handicap is realigned for their second event later in the evening. Defending champion Chris Moulton currently holds a narrow 4-point lead over three-peat winner Kristian Switser in his sophomore campaign with everyone looking to make up lost ground and distance on everyone else with triple-points on the line on Saturday.

Likewise, the Matt Clay Memorial for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models will have Double Points and extra money on the line. As announced on July 3rd, the Quinny Welch and LeBlanc Racing teams got together to put up a $1,000 bonus to honor longtime team-member and race fan Matt Clay with each of the top-10 finishers earning a $100 bonus meaning the 40-lap showdown is worth $500 to win! Speaking of LeBlanc, Cody currently leads the track standings over Desmond Skillings and defending champion Nick Anderson meaning more than a few drivers will have their eyes on the double points waiting under the checkered flag.

Thunder returns to the Mountains on Saturday, July 29th with another action-packed line-up. Midseason Championship make-up double features return, this time for the ultra-competitive Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis. The Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series returns for 100 laps of Foley Oil & Propane Late Model action in Round #3 as the final test and tune before the American-Canadian Tour returns for the 6th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 5th. The $500 to win Matt Clay Memorial for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers and the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division are also on tap. Post Time is set for 6:00pm with adult general admission at $20, kids 12-6 for $10 and children 5 and under free! The Family Four Pass is also available for $50.
