Phoenix Raceway, NASCAR Launch Community Giveback Efforts As Racing Returns

PHOENIX (March. 4, 2025) – As NASCAR returns to Phoenix Raceway March 7-9, the track and the sport will band together to make a difference within the community. Remaining race week events include:

  • Friday, March 7 – NASCAR Foundation Speediatrics Fun Day Festival powered by Kaulig Racing: From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., The NASCAR Foundation will host students from PH Gonzales Elementary School at the Phoenix Raceway midway (near Kids Zone) for the Speediatrics Fun Day Festival. The NASCAR-themed field day promotes healthy lifestyle habits for children in local racing communities through racing-themed lifestyle programming.

NASCAR returns to Phoenix Raceway with three incredible days of racing, March 7-9. On Friday, March 7, the ARCA Menards Series will jumpstart the weekend with the General Tire 150 at 6 p.m. The action continues Saturday with the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ GOVX 200 at 3 p.m., preceded by NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying.

And then at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series throttle up the drama in the Shriners Children’s 500.  Christopher Bell won last year’s Shriners Children’s 500, and this year’s race promises even more excitement. Goodyear will provide each car two faster sets of “option” tires that teams can deploy at their discretion. While being faster in the short run, the option tires will wear faster, forcing drivers and teams to make risk vs. reward decisions that will increase the level of competition.

Tickets for the Shiners Children’s 500 weekend are going fast, so fans are encouraged to visit http://www.phoenixraceway.com to secure their seats and experiences while supplies last.
