Subject: Road Closures and Traffic Plan Announced for LIUNA 150 NASCAR Race Weekend at Lime Rock Park

What: Local and visiting motorists should expect temporary traffic pattern changes and road closures in and around Lime Rock Park during the LIUNA 150 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series weekend (June 27-28). To ensure safe and efficient access to the facility, Lime Rock Park, Connecticut State Police and local agencies have coordinated detailed ingress and egress plans for Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28.
When:
Friday and Saturday, June 27–28, 2025
Active Ingress Traffic Plan: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
All Lanes Resume Normal Operation: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (subject to change)
Active Egress Traffic Plan: 4:00pm to 7:00 PM
Where:
- Route 7/112 Westbound: Two lanes westbound past the Outfield Entrance to White Hollow Road
- White Hollow Road from Route 112: Two lanes southbound up to Lights Field
- White Hollow Road (from Caulkinstown Rd, Sharon): Open to two-way traffic with signage noting “No Thru Traffic”
- Alternate Routes for Eastbound Travel: From Route 112 (Hotchkiss Corners), take Route 41 Northbound to Route 44 Eastbound, then Route 126 Eastbound to Route 7
Why:
To accommodate the influx of fans attending the LIUNA 150 race weekend, featuring the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Classic at Lime Rock Park, increased traffic control measures are necessary to ensure public safety and minimize congestion in surrounding areas.
