  • nascar cup seriesTrevor Huddleston (No. 50 High Point Racing/Racecar Factory Ford) leads the ARCA Menards Series West into the first of two road course races, the General Tire 200 at Sonoma Raceway. Huddleston has won twice so far in 2025, both at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, and he leads the series championship standings by nine points over second-place Tanner Reif (No. 13 Central Coast Cabinets Toyota). While known for his short track prowess, Huddleston has just one top-ten finish in five starts at Sonoma, a tenth in 2019.
  • Tanner Reif will be joined by his brother Tyler Reif (No. 24 Vegas Fastener/Sigma Performance Services Chevrolet) in the field for the first time since the race at Phoenix Raceway in March. Tanner, the older of the two brothers, has six road course starts in his West career, with a pair of top-ten finishes at Portland International Raceway including a third-place finish in 2022, but he has yet to crack the top ten at Sonoma. Tyler, who drove for the team Tanner currently drives for in 2024, finished second to Sam Mayer at Sonoma in 2024. Coincidentally, Mayer was driving for the team that Tyler is racing for in 2025.
  • Both Reif brothers are contending for ARCA Menards Series platform championships in 2025 and both are second in their respective standings. Tanner is nine points out of the West lead, while Tyler is six points behind Isaac Kitzmiller in the ARCA Menards Series East standings.
  • Kyle Keller (No. 71 Jan’s Towing / Jan’s Racing Ford) heads to Sonoma with back-to-back runner-up finishes at Colorado National Speedway and Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway under his belt. Keller also finished second in the season opener at Kern. In four road course starts, two each at Sonoma and Portland, Keller has a pair of ninth-place finishes – one at each track – to his credit.
  • Eric Johnson, Jr. (No. 5 Sherwin-Williams Toyota) and Caleb Shrader (No. 6 Consonous Healthcare Ford), both driving for Jerry Pitts Racing, each look to better their career best road course finish, seventh. Johnson finished seventh at Sonoma last year, while Shrader finished seventh at Portland in 2023.
  • Alon Day (No. 25 JSSI Toyota), a four-time NASCAR Whelen Euro Elite 1 champion, will make his ARCA Menards Series West debut at Sonoma Raceway. Driving for Venturini Motorsports, Day finished second in the ARCA Menards Series race at Lime Rock Park two weeks ago.
  • ARCA Series WestKaylee Bryson (No. 17 LSI Logical Logistics / MMS Services Chevrolet) will make her stock car debut at Sonoma. Bryson became the first female to qualify for the A-main at the Chili Bowl Nationals in 202 and the first female to win a USAC Silver Crown race with her victory at the Belleville Highbanks in 2024. Bryson is the 2024 Trans-AM SGT champion and she recently scored the victory at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the TA XGT class.
  • Christian Eckes (No. 19 NAPA Auto Care / NAPA Nightvision Chevrolet), the 2019 ARCA Menards Series champion, will make his West debut at Sonoma in preparation for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race. He will be joined in the McAnally stable by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular Jack Wood (No. 16 Weyerhauser / James Hardie / Timbertech by Azek Chevrolet).
  • Two drivers will make their first ARCA Menards Series West starts in several seasons in Friday’s General Tire 200. Will Rodgers (No. 88 Shockwave Marine Suspension Seating Ford), winner at Sonoma in 2018, will make his first appearance since a same-day doubleheader at Utah Motorsports Campus in 2020 that resulted in fifth-place and eighth-place finishes. Spencer Gallagher (No. 23 Third Gen/Phil’s Febrication/Allegiant Airlines Chevrolet) will make his first series appearance since the 2011 season finale at Phoenix.
  • Rodd Kneeland (No. 68 Rodd’s Renovations / Pedroncelli Mobile Bottling Chevrolet) will make his first West start since he finished 15th at Sonoma last year. In addition to owning the construction company that sponsors his racing efforts, Kneeland is an engineer with the Sonoma Valley Fire Department.
  • Hendrick Motorsports development driver Corey Day (No. HendrickCars.com Chevrolet) will make his road course debut on Friday; Shane Huffman, who oversees the Pinnacle Racing Group team that leads the ARCA Menards Series standings with Brenden Queen, will serve as Day’s crew chief.
  • All cautions at Sonoma will be “quickie yellows”, meaning pit road will be open the first time by. All vehicles may pit the first time by, then pit road will be closed. Tire changes of any kind among the same tread pattern (dry to dry/wet to wet) are not permitted and must be approved by an ARCA official. Teams will not be allowed to add fuel prior to lap 20.
  • The General Tire 200 will be the 46th ARCA Menards Series West race at Sonoma Raceway since 1969. Nine of those races, from 1989 through 1997, were run in combination with the NASCAR Cup Series.
  • The General Tire 200 will be streamed live on FloRacing starting at 6:15 pm ET / 3:15 pm PT on Friday. The race will also be shown live on The NASCAR Channel, which is available for free on Tubi, Xumo, Samsung TV, and Amazon Prime Video.
