George Skora III in Race Of Champions victory lanePerry, N.Y. – (October 6, 2025) – George Skora III (Eden, N.Y.) capped off a remarkable season in Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series competition by capturing the Fall Shootout at “The Bullring” – Wyoming County International Speedway on Saturday.

The win earned Skora his third victory of the year and a clean sweep of the inaugural Race of Champions Sportsman Modified “Triple Crown.”

The Triple Crown, which included the George Decker Memorial at Holland (N.Y.) Speedway, Race of Champions Weekend at Lake Erie Speedway (North East, Pa.), and the Fall Shootout at Perry, rewarded Skora with an additional $1,000 bonus for winning all three marquee events.

It was Skora’s first appearance at Perry in several years, but he quickly found his rhythm — and victory lane.

“We had a great day,” Skora said. “I can’t believe we were able to pull this off — the first year the bonus was out there, too. It’s a real accomplishment and something we’re all very proud of. Everyone on our team did a great job, and I’m grateful for all their help and support.”

Skora held off Kevin Timmerman (Ontario, N.Y.) and Lee Sharpsteen (Waverly, N.Y.) to secure the victory.

Qualifying race winners were Andrew Lewis Jr. (Ontario, N.Y.)Mason Hanel (Clarence, N.Y.)Shawn Nye (Lancaster, N.Y.), and Timmerman, while Jesse Kent (Horseheads, N.Y.) won the B-Main.
