Kyle Larson to Make Indy 500 Return in 2025

The most popular driver and entry from May’s Indianapolis 500 will return in 2025 and take another shot at winning ‘The Greatest Spectacle In Racing’ with an entry for Kyle Larson from Arrow McLaren/Hendrick Motorsports as part of their second attempt to do ‘The Double.’

The NASCAR Cup champion starred all month in his rookie appearance at the 500 in the No. 17 Chevy and was only limited by errors due to his inexperience in an IndyCar, and a downpour that delayed the race and derailed his plans to contest the 600-mile NASCAR race immediately after the 500 in Charlotte. Chase Briscoe won the Cup Race while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came up with a very respectful eighth place and Corey LaJoie took down ninth place with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT earning a 12^th. Not so fortunate was Boston’s Kaz Grala who placed 24th. Note that Corey LaJoie is the son of Randy La Joie of Norwalk, CT who was a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Champion,

Harrison Burton won the Cup race at Daytona while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended his night in 31^{st. Also} Corey LaJoie did even worse with a 34^th position and Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up 39^th going out early in that race. LaJoie is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT before moving to the Charlotte, NC area.
