NASCAR action this past weekend occurred at Michigan International Speedway.
Ty Gibbs emerged the victor in the Xfinity race on Saturday. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 14th while Kaz Grala of Boston placed 18th and Jeb Burton completed his day in 22nd. Alfredo and Burton both race for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who live in Harwich, MA.
In Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race was taken by veteran driver Kevin Harvick with Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano finishing 4th while Corey LaJoie posted a 19th place finish. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who is a Norwalk, CT native
