How Did New England-Connected Drivers Do At Atlanta This Weekend?

Austin Hill won the Xfinity race on Saturday. while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT salvaged a fourth place in a wreck after being a contender for a win.

Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ended up 14th while his team mate Jeb Burton took 16th place. Alfredo and Burton drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who hail from Harwich, MA.  Not so fortunate was Boston’s Kaz Grala who ended his efforts in 35th .
In Sunday’s Cup race at Atlanta Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano won both the pole and the very competitive race! Corey LaJoie ended up fourth at the checkered flag.  Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie, a two-time Xfinity Champion, who grew up in Norwalk, CT.  It wasn’t a good day for Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece who ended up in 28th place.
