Tyler Reddick Won the Firekeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series Race at Michigan International Speedway

Tyler Reddick (#45) won the Firekeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. The win is his 2nd win of the year, 1st at Michigan and 7th career win.


#24-William Byron finished 2nd followed by #54-Ty Gibbs, #8-Kyle Busch, #6-Brad Keselowski, #17-Chris Buescher, #71-Zane Smith, #99-Daniel Suarez, pole sitter #11-Denny Hamlin, and #77-Carson Hocevar.

Stage 1 was won by #12-Ryan Blaney. Stage 2 was won by #8-Kyle Busch.

Reddick was in control of the race until a late caution came out, setting up an overtime attempt. During the first attempt, there was another caution and Reddick lost the lead to Byron. On the second overtime attempt,  Reddick tool the lead from Byron on the restart and he held on to win.

The start of the race on Sunday was delayed by nearly 2.5 hours when rain hit the track just before the scheduled green flag. The race was then postponed after 51 laps due to pending rain and darkness. It resumed Monday morning and ran to completion without issue.

There were 26 lead changes among 16 drivers and 7 cautions for 41 yellow flag laps.
