  • On the strength of two wins so far this year, Brenden Queen (No. 28 BestRepair.net Chevrolet) leads the ARCA Menards Series championship standings into the fifth round of the 2025 season, the General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Queen won the season opener at Daytona International Speedway and the series’ most recent race at Kansas Speedway to lead the standings by one point over Lawless Alan (No. 20 AUTOParkIt Toyota) and Lavar Scott (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet).
  • Alan, who earned his first career ARCA Menards Series victory two races ago at Talladega Superspeedway, started 30th and finished eighth in his first appearance at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2024. His average starting position so far in 2025 is a series best 2.3.
  • Scott heads into Charlotte with four finishes of between fourth and sixth so far this season, with his average finish a series leading 5.0. Scott finished fifth in his first and only career start at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2024. Scott, the only driver to complete every lap and finish among the top ten in all four ARCA Menards Series races in 2025, will be joined by teammate Lanie Buice (No. 2 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet), who finished seventh at Kansas Speedway in her ARCA Menards Series debut.
  • Garrett Mitchell (No. 30 Kenetik Ford), known as Cleetus McFarland of YouTube fame, will make his third career ARCA Menards Series start and his first on a 1.5-mile track at Charlotte. Mitchell finished a career-best tenth in his most recent start at Talladega Superspeedway.
  • Grant Enfinger (No. 97 A.L.L. Construction Chevrolet), the 2015 ARCA Menards Series champion, will make his 100th series start in substitution for series regular Jason Kitzmiller, who will return home after practice to attend his daughter Addison’s graduation ceremony, where she will graduate as the 2025 Valedictorian at Petersburg High School in Virginia. Enfinger will do double duty on Friday, also competing in the night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.
  • Andy Jankowiak (No. 73 Acacia Energy / DAKS Markets Toyota) enters the General Tire 150 coming off a fourth-place run at Talladega and a sixth-place finish at Kansas. Jankowiak’s only finish out of the top-ten was a 14th-place finish at Phoenix Raceway in March.
  • Austin Green (No. 82 Overplay Games Chevrolet) will drive a second entry out of the Pinnacle Racing Group stables. Green, son of 1994 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion David Green, will make his second career series start; his debut came back in 2020 at Toledo Speedway where he finished seventh.
  • The General Tire 150 will feature the modified live pit stop procedure; any caution is an opportunity to pit and the cars that pit will realign behind the cars that do not pit in the order they come down pit road unless they lose a lap to the pacecar or are under penalty. There will be a scheduled caution at or around lap 50.
  • Ryan Newman hold the ARCA Menards Series track qualifying record at Charlotte Motor Speedway, set in 2000, at 28.911 seconds/186.780 miles per hour. Three-time series champion Tim Steele holds the track race record, set in 1996, at 138.730 miles per hour.
  • The General Tire 150 will be televised live on FS1 starting at 6 pm ET on Friday, May 23. Live timing & scoring data will be available on ARCARacing.com; for up-to-the-minute updates please follow @ARCA_Racing on X (formerly known as Twitter).
