Bad news for defending Snowball Derby winner Ty Majeski. A chunk of asphalt came off the track and damaged his car. The NASCAR Truck Series champion is looking to become the second three-time winner in the history of the race.
The track at Five Flags Speedway has cracks and character. Unfortunately, too much character. A piece of the track did damage to the nose and duct work of the No. 91 according to Matt Weaver of Sportsnaut.
Weaver is at Five Flags with his Short Track Scene crew. He reported on the damage to Majeski’s car. You can see it in these images.
