The first of four combination events the ARCA Menards Series East shares with the national division to close out 2025 begins this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway, a facility that has more than earned its moniker as ‘The Monster Mile’.
Despite being a mile in length, what separates Dover from other similar facilities is its corners banked at 24 degrees. Precision and care are imperative to navigate the self-cleaning banking, as one wrong move could end not only one driver’s day, but several others attempting to avoid the chaos.
Although Dover has existed for over five decades, the ARCA Menards Series platform did not visit the track until 2020 when it took over sanctioning for the East Series, which had a presence there since 1987. The list of East Series winners at Dover includes names like Jimmy Spencer, Bubba Wallace, Austin Hill, Sam Mayer and Ty Gibbs.
Last year was the first time the national ARCA Menards Series competed at Dover alongside the East Series, with Connor Zilisch taking the checkered flag. Drivers from both divisions will once again seek to emerge victorious at the Monster Mile and gain momentum, especially with the East Series title fight entering its home stretch.
Tickets to the General Tire 150 can be purchased here. Below is everything to know ahead of Friday’s combination event between the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East.

General Tire 150 at The Monster Mile

ARCA Menards Series points leader Brenden ‘Butterbean’ Queen will have a busier weekend of racing than usual.
Once the General Tire 150 concludes on Friday, Queen heads to his home track of Langley Speedway in Virginia to compete in the prestigious Hampton Heat. Queen’s success at Langley played a crucial role in him earning an opportunity in the ARCA Menards Series, as he possesses three track championships and three Hampton Heat wins.
If Queen wishes to start his hectic weekend with a victory at Dover, he will need to fend off the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota piloted by Brent Crews. Gibbs’ team is seeking to avenge a bitter defeat in last year’s General Tire 150, which saw a strong day for William Sawalich end behind the wall following late contact with Connor Zilisch in Pinnacle Racing Group’s No. 28.
With Gibbs and PRG having combined to win six of nine events on the national schedule, plenty of drivers are seeking to interrupt their dominance on Friday. Among them is Lavar Scott, who has finished top five at Dover in both of his appearances across the national division and the East Series.
This weekend at Dover carries plenty of significance for Scott, who considers the one-mile facility to be his home track. He looks to put together another strong Dover outing prior to his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in Saturday’s BetRivers 200, where he will pilot the No. 45 Mongoose Power Solutions/Foxxtecca Chevrolet for Alpha Prime Racing.
The top three in the ARCA Menards Series East standings are only separated by eight points ahead of the General Tire 150. With third place driver Max Reaves not on the preliminary entry list, points leader Isaac Kitzmiller and Tyler Reif have an optimal opportunity ahead to assert control in the East Series title fight.
Other drivers set to compete at Dover on Friday included Isaac’s father Jason Kitzmiller, along with Jake Finch, Camden Murphy, Andrew Patterson, Timmy Hill and Ryan Roulette.
The complete entry list for the General Tire 150 will be released later this week.
