How Did New England-Connected Drivers Do This Past Weekend?

Tyler Gray won the ARCA Menards Series at Mid-Ohio Raceway with Rockland, MA’s Dale Quarterley cracked the top ten.  Dale is a former Privateer rider in the AMA Super Bike Series.

In the Camping World Truck go at Mid-Ohio Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT took his third career win in that series while Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his day in seventh
In the Xfinity Series at Mid-Ohio AJ Almendinger came home the victor with Jeb Burton taking a 16th place while Brett Moffitt had fuel pump problems and ended up 31st. Both Burton and Moffitt drive team cars for Our Motorsports which is owned by Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.
In Sunday’s Cup race at Atlanta Chase Elliott ended up the winner in one of the most competitive races there.  Corey LaJoie ended his day in 21st place after he led several laps earlier.  Corey’s dad is Randy LaJoie who is a former two-time Xfinity Champion who grew up in Norwalk, CT.  Not as fortunate was Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano who was a DNF and awarded 26th place.
