On Saturday at PIR Sammy Smith won the Xfinity race with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT finishing 14th
… while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in 15th, Jeb Burton finished 22nd while Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his day early and was given 34th place. Alfredo and Jeb Burton both race team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who reside in Harwich, MA.
Sunday’s NASCAR Cup race was a win for William Byron. Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano came in 11th, Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 12th and Corey LaJoie was 26th. LaJoie is the son of two-time Xfinity Championship Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
