NASCAR Modified Tour at Thompson Speedway on Wednesday, 4/16/25 – Results

From FloRacing

After Mother Nature washed out two previous attempts to hold the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Icebreaker 150, the third time was the charm Wednesday night at Thompson Speedway. Ron Silk topped a field of 29 Modifieds to claim his eighth career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory at the Thompson, CT oval.

Silk took the lead for the final time when he powered to the inside of Patrick Emerling with 11 laps remaining in the 150-lap race. The pass for the lead came shortly after Silk was involved in a pit road collision with his rival, Justin Bonsignore.
Emerling, the winner of the season opener at New Smyrna Speedway, held on to finish in the second position. Trevor Catalano turned in a strong performance to finish third, while polesitter Austin Beers and Bonsignore completed the top five.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be back in action on May 18 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
