NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver Justin Bonsignore To Pilot USNEPower Toyota GR Supra at Iowa Speedway in August

  • USNE POWER ANNOUNCES EXPANSION TO MIDWEST OPERATIONS IN IOWA

WEST DES MOINES – USNEPower (USNE Inc.), based in Westfield, Massachusetts, a leader in electrical apparatus repair and service in the Northeast, announced today they have expanded to the Midwest. The new USNEPower Mid-West Operations will support Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical Apparatus Repairs from a fully equipped service center in West Des Moines, Iowa, beginning in July 2025.

Founded in 2003, USNEPower backs its unequalled field service response with an in-shop service center and impressive component inventory. Prompt response, which is the cornerstone of USNEPower’s Northeast Operations and a full array of field services, will soon be available at the new Mid-West Operation Service Center.

It didn’t take USNEPower long to find their first Midwest employee.

Four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion and 45-race winner Justin Bonsignore will proudly partner with USNEPower to showcase the new location. Bonsignore will compete in a special USNEPower paint scheme for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, August 2, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. It will be the sixth of nine events with Joe Gibbs Racing for Bonsignore in 2025 in the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra.

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is one of the premier organizations in NASCAR with four NASCAR Cup Series teams, four NASCAR Xfinity Series teams, and a driver development program. JGR is based in Huntersville, North Carolina, and owned by 2020 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee Joe Gibbs, who also earned his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and was named as one of the NFL’s top 10 coaches of all-time with a winning career that included three Super Bowl Championships as head coach of the Washington franchise. JGR has competed in NASCAR since 1992, capturing 400 wins over that span. The NASCAR Xfinity Series operation specifically is overseen by Steve DeSouza.

“We are pumped up to announce our new location in the Des Moines area, and really excited to have the opportunity to showcase our brand on such a national stage with Justin Bonsignore and Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series,” David Miller of USNEPower said. “Our proud focus at USNEPower is to enrich the lives of others by removing the stress related to complex electrical equipment issues. Our new location, USNEPower Mid-West, will continue this level of successful service by sharing solutions learned with a predictive service approach in an expanded region. Having our brand connected with Joe Gibbs Racing and a champion like Justin Bonsignore is an excellent added bonus. We are proud to support a grassroots short-track racer on a national level.”

The opportunity for USNEPower to expand to the Mid-West is a testament of customer appreciation for the commitment USNEPower has to its customers and an understanding that maintaining electrical infrastructure is vital to everyone. Emergencies very rarely happen at convenient times. USNEPower operates an emergency response hotline service to address customer issues quickly – no matter when they occur.

With the new opening, USNEPower now proudly has Northeast Operations based in Westfield, Massachusetts and Mid-West Operations in West Des Moines, Iowa. Both Service Centers and Field Service Operations will be managed by the Westfield, Massachusetts, office, allowing for scheduling to be seamless to the end user, asset manager or manufacturer.

Bonsignore has 45 career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour wins, ranking second all-time. He picked up his fourth championship in 2024. In June of 2024, USNEPower was a proud sponsor of Bonsignore for his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where he ran second for a long portion of the race before a late accident sidelined him from a strong finish. Bonsignore already has a few Xfinity starts under his belt with the team in 2025, part of a nine-race season schedule with one of NASCAR’s top teams.

“Really excited to be able to continue our partnership with USNEPower for this Iowa Speedway event,” Bonsignore said. “USNEPower has been a great supporter of our efforts in the Xfinity Series since our debut. Having them on the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra for Iowa is a great opportunity for us to showcase their new location and get it to the front of the field. We couldn’t be more proud to have this awesome scheme on the car and we encourage everyone to visit their website to learn more about their business. They are truly dedicated to all customers.”

The new USNEPower Mid-West Operations will mirror the current Apparatus Repair Operation and employ qualified, trained and safety orientated personnel to allow USNE to offer the same level of service (one call, self-supporting). Inventory will be available to each location with dedicated courier service to support both locations real time.

USNEPower offers a large amount of services, including Field/Shop Service, Transformer, Voltage Regulator Service, Recloser and Relay Service, Switchgear (MV/LV), Root Cause and Forensic Investigation, Asset Owners Representation during Construction, Fault Locating, Cable Testing, Ground Testing and more.
