At Texas, Stewart Friesen won the NASCAR Truck race while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished third.
In the Xfinity race Tyler Reddick came home first with Jeb Burton finishing 13th, Brett Moffitt was 29th while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 32nd. Burton, Moffit and Alfredo are all team mates for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who live in Harwich, MA.
In the All Star Cup race Ryan Blaney showed the rest of the field the way to victory lane with Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano coming in fourth.
At Indy the qualifying took place on Sunday with Scott Dixon won the pole position. The sometimes NASCAR Xfinity driver Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT earned a 15th starting spot.
