
Four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore returns to the track Saturday morning at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Set to compete in the Mohegan Sun 100 with the Whelen Modified Tour at 9:15 a.m., Bonsignore will look to capture his third straight victory at the ‘Magic Mile’ behind the wheel of the No. 51 for Ken Massa Motorsports.
In 26 career starts at New Hampshire, Bonsignore has three wins and 11 top-five finishes. In the last two races, Bonsignore has led a total of 143 of 200 laps.
“Racing on NASCAR playoff weekend at New Hampshire is always special for the Whelen Modified Tour,” Bonsignore said. “A little different this year with the early-morning Saturday start time, but the race will be the same for the fans. It comes down to being in position off pit road for the run to the finish and making the right moves on the last lap.”
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at New Hampshire is a two-day show. Teams will unload on Friday, September 19, for practice from 11:30-12:30 p.m.. and qualifying at 3 p.m. The Mohegan Sun 100 will take the green flag at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
