ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (Feb.1, 2026) – Due to the ongoing effects from this weekend’s historic winter storm and the continuing impact on the surrounding areas, the previously scheduled Feb. 3-4 organizational test for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at Rockingham Speedway has been rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 6, and be conducted as a single-day test.
Track Enterprises will once again serve as the Official Promoter of Rockingham Speedway’s Easter Weekend NASCAR classic.
Teams from both the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will fine-tune their machines this Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in preparation for the
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series’ North Carolina Education Lottery 250 presented by Black’s Tire and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series’ Black’s Tire 200. Fans will be allowed free of charge to watch from the Turn 4 grandstands. Select drivers will be made available to the media in the infield media center Friday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Media will have access to the garage from noon – 5 p.m.

Located in Richmond County, N.C., Rockingham Speedway opened as a flat, one-mile oval on Oct. 31, 1965. It was reconfigured to a one-mile (1.017 miles) high-banked, D-shaped oval in 1969 and currently measures 0.94-miles in length. On Nov. 18, 2021, N.C., Governor Roy Cooper signed the 2021-2022 North Carolina state budget allocating $9 million to support reinvestment in the facility. The state funds, along with additional investments, allowed for redevelopment of the racetrack including the racing surface and extensive repairs.
