How Did New England-Connected Drivers Do This Past Weekend?

Grant Enfinger won the Camping World Track race at IRP on Friday night while Boston’s Kaz Grala finished up his effort in 20th position.

In Saturday’s Xfinity go at IMS AJ Almindinger took the checkered flag in that one with Brett Moffitt ending up 16th and Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT was next in 17th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ending up 18th.  Not so fortunate was Kaz Grala who wound up 32nd, Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in 37th while Jeb Burton came in 38th.  Moffitt, Alfredo and Burton all drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who live in Harwich, MA.
In Sunday’s Cup race at IMS saw Tyler Reddick take the checkered flag while Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano came in sixth and Corey LaJoie placed 18th.  Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie, a two time Xfinity Champion  who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
