John Nemechek won the Camping World Truck race at Kansas with Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece taking a third with Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finishing in 11th while Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his day in 18th.
In the Xfinity race it was Noah Gragson winning that one as Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT was 18th while Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH placing 27th. Jeb Burton came in 38th due to engine failure. Alfredo and Burton both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.
How about Bubba Wallace winning the Cup race at Kansas! Joey Logano of Middletown, CT took 17th place while Corey LaJoie ended his day 35th position. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
