John Nemechek won Saturday’s Xfinity race at NHMS …
… with Kaz Grala of Boston coming in 13th while Blain Perkins came home in 25th position. Finishing 27th was Kyle Weatherman. Not so fortunate was Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT who ended up 32nd with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT earning 34th. Both Weatherman and Perkins drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who reside in Harwich, MA.
Martin Truex won Monday’s rescheduled Cup race, due to rain, while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT was second. Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece placed 21st and Corey LaJoie finished 33rd. LaJoie is the son of two -time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
