William Byron won the Cup race at the Glen …

… with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing tenth while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 17th and Corey LaJoie placed 20th. Corey LaJoie is the son of Two-Time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.

Sam Mayer won the Xfinity race a day earlier while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finished third and Kyle Weatherman picked up 13th. Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his day in 28th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT coming in 31st and Blair Perkins ended up in 38th. Weatherman and Perkins both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who reside in Harwich, MA.

The ARCA Menard’s East Series also made an appearance at Watkins Glen which was won by Jesse Love with “senior citizen” Dale Quarterley of Hanover, MA finishing fifth with Corey LaJoie taking the 15th spot.
