Kyle Busch won Friday’s NASCAR Truck race at Vegas while Boston’s Kaz Grala ended his efforts in 17th place.
In Saturday’s Xfinity race Austin Hill came home the winner in that one while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT was 11th with Jeb Burton ending his day in 14th place with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT racking up a 19th finishing spot while Kaz Grala ended up 23rd . Burton and Alfredo both race for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our Team Cars. That couple call Harwich, MA home.
Sunday’s Cup race ended this way. William Byron grabbed the win. Corey LaJoie made it into to 20th spot. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT. Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece ended his day in 23rd. Middletown, CT Joey Logano had an even tougher day and went out in a crash on lap 183 and was awarded 36th place.
